Russell P. Spinazze, DDS

Dr. Spinazze joined the Associates for Oral, Maxillofacial, and Implant Surgery in 1997. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty training at the University of Illinois-Chicago Medical Center and School of Dentistry in 1997. He is a graduate of Barrington High School, Lawrence University and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Spinazze maintains his affiliation with the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Dentistry. He serves on the teaching staff of the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery and is active in administering the departments’ annual mock board examination. He has lectured on the national level, been active in research, and has been published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is currently a staff member at Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, and Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago.

Dr. Spinazze became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2000. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
He is certified in both Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Dr. Spinazze’s clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery including the removal of wisdom teeth, preprosthetic surgery, general anesthesia and IV sedation, dental implants and associated bone grafting procedures, dental and facial trauma, correction of facial deformities (orthognathic surgery), and oral pathology.
He is married with three children.
