Meet Dr. Perkinson

Dr. Perkinson joined the Associates for Oral, Maxillofacial, and Implant Surgery in 2004. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty training at John Stroger/Cook County Hospital in 2004 and a one-year oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at Cook County Hospital in 2000. He is also a graduate of North Carolina State University and the West Virginia University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Perkinson is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is board certified with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He currently maintains privileges at Resurrection Hospital, St. Alexius Hospital, and Alexian Brothers Medical Center.

Dr. Perkinson’s clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, including removal of wisdom teeth, dental and facial trauma, general anesthesia and IV sedation, oral pathology, dental implants, bone grafting, facial reconstruction, and the correction of facial deformities (orthognathic surgery).

Dr. Perkinson is married with two children.
