Introduction

For over 60 years, the Associates for Oral, Maxillofacial, and Implant Surgery, Ltd. have been providing quality oral and maxillofacial surgical care for the residents of Northwest Chicago and its suburbs. The practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training following graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Dennis J. Spinazze, Dr. Michael J. Zak, Dr. Russell P. Spinazze, Dr. Anthony M. Spina and Dr. William L. Perkinson manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Our doctors practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. We incorporate techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Our doctors are also skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Our doctors and staff are trained to administer Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting; where patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
