Meet Russell P. Spinazze, D.D.S.

Dr. Russell Spinazze joined the Associates for Oral, Maxillofacial, and Implant Surgery in 1997. He is a graduate of Barrington High School, Lawrence University and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty training at the University of Illinois-Chicago Medical Center and School of Dentistry in 1997.

Dr. Spinazze maintained his affiliation with the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Dentistry. He has served on the teaching staff of the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery and has been active in administering the departments annual mock board examination to its current residents. He has lectured on the national level, been active in research, and has been published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He is currently on staff at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, and Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village.

Dr. Spinazze became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2000 and recertified in 2009. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is certified in both Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Dr. Spinazzes clinical interests include dental implants and associated bone grafting procedures, dentoalveolar surgery including the removal of wisdom teeth, general anesthesia and IV sedation, preprosthetic surgery, exposure of impacted (buried) teeth for orthodontic purposes, dental and facial trauma, correction of facial deformities (orthognathic surgery), and oral pathology.

He is married with three children.

Meet Mark Spinazze, D.D.S.

Dr. Mark Spinazze joined the Associates for Oral, Maxillofacial and Implant Surgery in 2011. He is a graduate of St. Viator High School, University of Michigan and University of Illinois-Chicago School of Dentistry. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialty training at The University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Spinazze has been actively involved in research and has several current and pending publications to his credit in both national and international journals. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is board certified with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Spinazze is currently on staff at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, and Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village.

Dr. Spinazze’s clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, removal of wisdom teeth, general anesthesia and IV sedation, dental implants, bone grafting, facial trauma surgery, oral pathology, facial reconstruction, and the correction of facial deformities (orthognathic surgery).

Dr. Spinazze is an active provider with the charitable organization Donated Dental Services. During his hospital training, he was recognized as the University Hospital Cincinnati Emergency Department’s “Outstanding Resident Physician” in January, 2011. He was named a “Top Dental Specialist” in Chicago Magazine and “Top Dentist” in West Suburban Living Magazine for multiple years.

Meet Eliza P. Drobny, DDS, MD

Dr. Eliza Drobny joined the Associates for Oral, Maxillofacial and Implant Surgery in 2015. She is a graduate of Glenbrook South High School, Loyola University-Chicago, University of Illinois-Chicago School of Dentistry, and University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Medicine. She completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialty training, General Surgery internship, and Medical Degree at the University of Nebraska in Omaha.

Dr. Drobny is currently on staff at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, and Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village.

Dr. Drobny is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is board certified with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Drobny’s clinical interests include dental-alveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom tooth removal, general anesthesia and IV sedation, corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), oral pathology, facial reconstruction, management of temporomandibular joint disorders, salivary gland diseases, facial trauma, and surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea. She has been trained in the most technologically advanced forms of treatment of the facial bones utilizing CT guided Virtual Surgical Planning. Dr Drobny is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
